Privacy notice

What we measure. What we do not.

This page describes the website analytics behavior that ships with HyperActivity today. It is a factual product notice, not a complete privacy policy.

HyperActivity's public site can load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only when a deployment explicitly enables it with both an enable flag and a valid GA4 measurement ID.

Committed environment profiles keep analytics disabled. Incomplete configuration produces no analytics registration and no third-party analytics request.

What may be collected when analytics is enabled

When enabled, GA4 may record standard website measurement such as page views, approximate location derived from IP handling by Google, device and browser characteristics, and referral information.

The site configuration grants analytics storage and denies advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization signals by default.

What this integration does not do

This integration is not configured for advertising features, ad personalization, or selling personal information for ads.

HyperActivity does not invent additional trackers beyond the environment-controlled GA4 path documented in the engineering guides.

How enablement works

Operators enable collection per deployment through public environment variables, not by changing committed defaults.

Required variables are NUXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_ANALYTICS_ENABLED=true and NUXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_ANALYTICS_ID set to a GA4 measurement ID that starts with G-.

Consent model on this site

The current product path is notice-only: there is no cookie consent banner, and analytics storage is granted when GA4 is enabled for that deployment.

If a deployment's jurisdiction or audience requires opt-in consent before analytics storage, that requirement must be met before enablement or the product path must be extended. That consent UI is out of scope for the current notice.

Review status

Pending counsel review

Retention periods, cross-border transfer language, children's privacy statements, and jurisdiction-specific legal claims are not established here and must not be inferred.

Treat this notice as WIP until HyperActivity records an approved privacy review. Enable production analytics only after that review, or knowingly accept the risk for a non-production deployment.
